This exhibition features Jackson Pollock’s screen prints done from six of his large 1951 poured black enamel paintings along with twenty-four of Ossorio’s 1950 wax and watercolor paintings on paper previously featured in the 1998 exhibition at Michael Rosenfeld Gallery, Alfonso Ossorio, The Child Returns: 1950 - Philippines, Expressionist Paintings on Paper (November 5 - January 9, 1999). Also featured will be photographs by Hans Namuth of Pollock and Ossorio painting in their studios. The Namuth photographs of Ossorio working in his studio at 9 MacDougal Alley in New York, have never before been exhibited.
