After over fifty years of following his personal, meditative vision, Seliger's art continues to develop. The surfaces of his works are extraordinarily complex and densely calligraphic. As a result of many layers of glazing, the paintings possess a rich texture and sublime luminosity.

This exhibition consists of twenty extremely detailed, small-format, abstract paintings executed between 1989 and 1992. Infinities is the first exhibition in the United States devoted to Charles Seliger's paintings since his 1986 retrospective at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York.

Michael Rosenfeld Gallery is the exclusive representative of Charles Seliger.
